On Wednesday week a military match, between the 3rd Cheshire Regiment and Lancashire and Cheshire R.G.A. (by kind permission of their commanding officers), will be played. The proceeds will be given to the Liverpool hospitals. The directors of the Liverpool F.C. have kindly placed their ground at the disposal of the clubs. Kick off 2.45. This should be a nice change for the Wednesday shop assistants, and by their turning up in goodly numbers they will greatly add to the interest, and also help our institutions.
