Everything points to this city of football having a good time to-morrow. The matches on the list are distinctly good, and the prospect of even games is very rosy. Liverpool, at Rochdale, will find themselves hard pressed, even though the Rochdale form, as per chart, does not suggest a defeat.
Rochdale’s ground is not one of the best, and would trouble some finicky footballers; but Liverpool have shown a workmanlike way in their games, and therefore ground troubles do not come in their ken.
Liverpool. – A.N. Other; Ephraim Longworth, Tommy Lucas; John Bamber, Walter Wadsworth, Donald Mackinlay; Arthur Goddard, Arthur Metcalf, Tommy Bennett, Harry Lewis, Tommy Cunliffe.
