It was a fair number of seasons back that Preston so poorly that really one did bother about their visits to the city. However, in recent times they have much improved, and at this moment they are above themselves and are preening themselves on the assistance that has been given by well-known players. They have a smart forward in Stan. Fazackerley (Sheffield) and Barnes (Manchester City) has been aiding them. Certain is it that the Anfield champions will have hard work to overcome the North End side.
Only this week North End surprised the R.F.A. team, which had Boyle, Kelly, Kellock and Co. in its ranks. So Anfielders may look forward to to-morrow’s game as likely to produce keen football and a game worth watching.
