Billy McCracken, the Newcastle United and Irish international back, has secured a team to play a match next Saturday for the benefit of the Sunderland Rovers club. The game will take place on the Rovers’ ground, and the home club expect to include in their eleven: Lieutenant Jimmy Hugall (Clapton Orient), Simspon Bainbridge (Leeds City) and Charles Hafekost (Liverpool).
McCracken’s eleven comprises: Jimmy Lawrence (Newcastle United), Brooks (Belfast Distillery), Harvey (Paisley St. Mirren), Frank Cuggy (Sunderland), Ashbridge (Sheffield United), George Thompson (Derby County), George Holley (Sunderland), Featherston (Paisley St. Mirren), Harry Chambers (Liverpool), and John Scott (Grimsby Town).
