Daniel Cunliffe released from Army


August 4, 1917
Daniel Cunliffe, the old Liverpool and Portsmouth player, who was once “capped” for England, has just received his discharge from the Army, consequent upon being badly wounded whilst in France. His left arm is practically useless, so it is doubtful if he will ever play football again.
