One thing at a time is a happy sensible idea, but one must at this time look forward to a double-edged event in connection with the Liverpool club. They should win the Lancashire League, and have started the year and the Subsidiary Competition in manner aright, and the prospect of their success in both sections is quite good.
Stockport provide a keen test of Liverpool’s strength, which you will notice is improved by the return of Walter Wadsworth, whose damaged ankle has now mended. Stockport store their best for the Mersey sides, and their visit to Goodison is not forgotten. Liverpool should take no risks tomorrow, when the game make a mental note, starts at 2.45.
