Harry Chambers for England in Glasgow


June 6, 1918
An international football match England v. Scotland will be played at Celtic Park, Glasgow, on Saturday, in aid of the funds for Sir Douglas Haig’s base hospital.
England. – Gough (Sheffield United), McCracken (Newcastle), English (Sheffield United), Coggy (Sunderland), Boyle (Burnley), Barber (Aston Villa), Simpson (Blackburn Rovers), Chambers (described as of Liverpool), Cook (Middlesbrough), Holley (Sunderland) and William Morgan (Birmingham).
Scotland. – Robb, McNair, McSkiming, Bowie, Wright, Nellies or McMullan, Archibald, Patrick “Patsy” Gallagher, McLean, McMenemy, and A.L. Morton.
