Ernest Peake for Blyth Spartans as player-manager

Ernest Peake, the Liverpool and Welsh International centre-half, is going to Blyth Spartans as player-manager, and he should do the team a world of good. They have already secured Bernard Doyle, of Hull City, as goalkeeper, George Williams, of Close House, outside right and David Jones, of Burradon United, as centre-forward.
