Billy Meredith, the famous winger and Welsh international, was on Tuesday re-signed by the Manchester United Club, who, through their manager, Mr. W. Robson, agreed to pay him £10 a week, and also to give him the balance of his benefit money immediately.
Further, the club promised to ask for permission to pay Meredith for the games he has missed this season. Meredith accepted the offer, and he will figure in the Manchester United team against Liverpool on Boxing Day.
