Howard Baker signs for Liverpool

March 11, 1920
By allowing Elisha Scott to play for Ireland, and Kenneth Campbell for Scotland, on Saturday, Liverpool left themselves in a quandary. It is not easy to find a deputy for both one’s goalkeepers.

The result is that Howard Baker will make his first League appearance at Hillsborough. He has been doing good work with Northern Nomads. Baker is the famous Olympic jumper.
