Olympian jumper as the Liverpool F.C. goalkeeper

Howard Baker, the 6ft. 2in. custodian, who, with Liverpool to-day made his first appearance in a League match, is the Olympic jumper. He is a Preston North End player, and gets his chance because Liverpool’s two custodians were required for the International match, Elisha Scott playing for Ireland and Kenneth Campbell for Scotland.
