Second trial game for Liverpool


August 18, 1920
Liverpool play their last trial game to-night at Anfield 6.00. The following teams will do duty:
Reds: Harry McNaughton, Ephraim Longworth, Donald Mackinlay, John Bamber, Walter Wadsworth, Tom Bromilow, Jack Sheldon, Dick Forshaw, Tom Miller, Harry Chambers, Albert Pearson.
Stripes: John Scott, Tommy Lucas, Reg Freeman, John McNab, John Ford, William Cunningham, John Miller, Peter McKinney, Dick Johnson, Harry Lewis, Harold Wadsworth.

It will be noticed that Longworth and Bamber get a run-out. Freeman is the amateur who played so well for Northern Nomads last season.
