For the first of the International Association matches England v. Ireland, to be played at Sunderland on October 23, the Irish team has been selected as follows: –
Elisha Scott (Liverpool), Robert Manderson (Glasgow Rangers), David Rollo (Blackburn), Bobby McCracken (Crystal Palace), William Lacey (Liverpool), Mickey Hamill (Manchester City), Pat Kelly (Manchester City), Pat Gallagher (Celtic), Jack Doran (Brighton), Billy Gillespie (Sheffield United), John McCandless (Bradford City).
The English team will be chosen in London on Monday.
It is doubtful whether Gallagher and Manderson will accept their places, October 23 being the day on which Rangers and Celtic meet in a League match as Parkhead.
