I much regret to hear that Mr. Albert Worgan died last night. Mr. Worgan had been a director of Liverpool F.C. from the time the club was made into a limited liability company. A schoolmaster at Sheil Road, he did much service for the Anfield club till his health broke down. He collapsed one evening after attending a directors’ meeting, and from that period he had never really looked up. The funeral is on Thursday, at three o’clock, at Underbarrow, near Kendal.
