December 4, 1920
One of the best discoveries of the season is Ben Cross, the young Burnley inside left, who helped himself to two goals against Oldham Athletic. An ex-schoolboy international, he hails from Birkenhead, where he worked as a boil-maker. He assisted Liverpool in war-time football, and has scored seven goals this season.
