Stan Fazackerley’s feat of swallowing his chewing gum and nearly choking himself to death has caused great amusement at Goodison, and has led up to a funny practical joke. One of the players dressed up in the role of a traveller for Everton toffee, called upon Fazackerley and explained to him the advantages of toffee over chewing gum.
