The funeral of Peter Platt

The funeral took place at Nuneaton of Mr. Peter Platt, a licensed victualler, who was formerly a well-known Association goalkeeper, playing for Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool, Luton and Nuneaton Town.

He also achieved success in cricket and billiard circles.

He died at the age of 40 from pneumonia following an attack of influenza.
