Archie Rawlings, the clever Preston North End outside right, has been placed on the transfer list at his own request. The health of his wife is the reason given. One of the tallest wingers in the League, Rawlings stands 5ft. 11½ in., and scales 12 st. He has played with Northampton, Rochdale, and Dundee, his transfer fee from the latter being £1,500, it is said. North End got him in June, 1920, and the following May he played for England against Belgium.
