Charlie Wilson honoured with a money gift

October 4, 1922
Charlie Wilson, who has been with Liverpool F.C. as player and assistant trainer and coach for 21 years, is to receive a sum of £500 in lieu of a benefit match. This is a trifle better than a wet benefit match.
