Newcastle United yesterday signed on a very promising local forward in Bob Clark, who has been attracting attention while playing inside right for Prudhoe Castle in the Northern Alliance. Clark, who only joined Prudhoe some five weeks ago from Newburn Grange, is only 19 years of age, but is of very useful physique, standing 5ft. 10ins. in height, and weighing 11st. 10lbs.
