Jack Sheldon signs for Watford


Friday, March 16 – 1923
Jack Sheldon, of Clay Cross, whose career was spoiled towards the close of the 1920-21 season, when he sustained a broken ankle during he course of a First League game between Liverpool (for whom he played on the extreme right wing) and Derby County, has been signed by Watford. Prior to joining Liverpool, Sheldon played with Manchester United.
