Jock Ewart, the Bradford City and Scotland International goalkeeper, has returned to his first love. He was yesterday signed by Airdrieonians. Ewart played football with Bellshill Rovers at the age of 16, and from that club went to Airdrie. In 1912 he was transferred to Bradford City. A brilliant keeper, Ewart is also one of the most daring playing football. He had been in demand by several English- and Scottish League clubs, and Airdrie have done a great stroke of business in securing their old player. Ewart was Scotland’s goalkeeper in 1921, and has also played against the Irish League and the Southern League.
