Prime Minister Baldwin at Anfield

November 3, 1923
Lord Derby advised the Liverpool Football Club to-day that the Prime Minister (Mr. Stanley Baldwin) would join him in visiting the Liverpool v Huddersfield Town game at Liverpool this afternoon.

It is the first time that the Premier has been to a First Division match.

Members of the Royal Family have attended matches at the Anfield Road ground, and the Liverpool club has a number of tablets recording the visit.
