The annual Summer Meetings of the FA Council and the Management Committee of the Football League were held during the week-end at Margate, when may matters of importance were decided.
Liverpool requested permission to play in the Free State of Ireland during the close season. It was agreed to adjourn the matter pending a conference between the four national associations of the United Kingdom. It was understood that the same conference would consider the qhole question of matches and tours on the Continent by United Kingdom clubs with a view to common action being taken.
