Rangers yesterday secured the transfer of another player, the second within the past few days. Negotiations were complete for the transfer of Thomas Malone, Clyde’s clever outside right. With Archibald injured, the Ibrox directors yesterday morning commenced negotiations with the Shawfield club. Late in the afternoon the deal was completed.
Malone, who is a strong go-ahead forward, was secured by Clyde from Liverpool. He stands 5 feet 8 ½ inches in height, and weighs 11 ½ stones. He has played consistently for the Bridgeton club for some time, and he will turn out for his new club against Raith Rovers.
