Liverpool invited to Dublin

October 25, 1926
Liverpool have been invited to come to Dublin by one of the leading club in the Free State League, and have agreed to do so if their engagements permit. The visit of the Anfield club would be very popular in the Irish capital, as many players from Erin’s Isle have assisted the Lancashire club, who have at present the services of Elisha Scott, the famous Irish International goalkeeper.
