Cyril Oxley back from cartilage operation

November 27, 1926
Followers of football in and around Chesterfield will be pleased to hear that Cyril Oxley, the Liverpool outside right, has made a good recovery from the operation he underwent for cartilage trouble.

Since the time he was transferred from Chesterfield to Anfield. Oxley played in 31 games for Liverpool. Now that he has resumed training it should not be long before he makes his first appearance in the present campaign.
