David Davidson transferred to Liverpool

David Davidson, the ex-Aberdeen Argyle, and Forfar Athletic centre-half, was yesterday transferred to Liverpool. He was much sought after by both Scottish and English clubs, Aberdeen, Airdrie, Newcastle and Everton all having been in the running for his services.

David Davidson, centre half-back of Forfar Athletic, has been transferred to Liverpool. Forfar found him in Aberdeen Argyle.

Liverpool have strengthened their playing resources by signing David Davidson, of Forfar Athletic, a centre half-back, who played in every match last season for the Scottish Second Division club.
Davidson is 22 years of age, and he stands 5ft. 11in., and weighs 11st. And Mr. George Paterson, the secretary of the Anfield club, tells me that he has great hopes of his success in English football.
