The new England winger?

Will Dick Edmed, of Liverpool, play for England in international games this season?

Well, two seasons ago he bagged 14 goals; last season he claimed 16, despite a fractured collar bone, and last week he put up a brace – and also a hat-trick – against West Ham.

Liverpool took a certain risk when they went to £1,750 to get this ex-Chatham dockyard worker from Gillingham, but it is doubtful if there is a more effective right winger in the game to-day anywhere.
