Liverpool F.C. meeting over in twenty minutes.
Liverpool F.C. broke all records with their annual meeting last night. Mr. Thomas Crompton, moved the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, which showed a credit balance on the season’s working of £8,495.
Mr. George Patterson, secretary-manager, who has been appointed to the office of company secretary, announced that the following players had been engaged for next season:
Goal: Elisha Scott, Arthur Riley, Andrew Aitken.
Full backs: James Jackson, Tommy Lucas, Robert Done, John Charlton.
Half-backs: Tom Morrison, Tom Bradshaw, Jimmy McDougall, Bob Ireland, Norman James, Charlie Thompson, Tom Bromilow, Tommy Gardner, Alfred Roe.
Forwards: Fred Hopkin, Gordon Hodgson, Jimmy Smith, Archie Macpherson, Gordon Gunson, Dick Edmed, Harold Barton, Harry Race, Dave Wright, James Kelly, John Wicklow, Alan Scott, Bob Clark.
The retiring directors, Messrs. Albert Edward Berry, Walter Henry Cartwright, and William Harvey Webb were re-elected.
