Mr. Ted Davis, manager of the Bath City F.C., has made an important capture. He has secured the signature of John Marshall, the Scottish Junior International.
Aged 21 years, 5ft. 11in. in height, and weighing 12 stone, he should be a great acquisition to the City. Last season he played for Liverpool, and at the latter end of the season was transferred to Stockport County, for whom he scored many goals.
Marshall played for Scotland in the Junior International against England, in 1928 at Coventry, as centre forward, and against Ireland, at Edinburgh, in 1929. He is at home in any position. He will shortly be coming to Bath reside.
