Ted Hancock transferred to Liverpool

Ted Hancock, Liverpool’s new inside right from Gainsborough Trinity, was one of the fastest forwards in the Midland League, and on Saturday, against Bradford City Reserves, made innumerable openings for Robinson, the centre forward, who scored four goals.

Stiffly built, standing 5ft. 8in., and weighing 11st. 8lbs., Hancock has scored twelve goals for Gainsborough in Cup and League games. He joined the club from Denaby. He is the son of Mr. Joe Hancock, a former Denaby manager and Chesterfield goalkeeper.
