Tom Devlin returns from the States

The success of Sid Smith, Aberdeen’s Scottish-American player, has led to Manager Pat Travers seeking another Scottish player who has made good in American football. The newcomer is Tom Devlin, a brother of William Devlin, who has been playing inside left for Brooklyn Wanderers. Before going to the States, Devlin played for Preston North End and Swindon Town.
