Jimmy Stewart, who has been trainer of Hamilton Academicals for nine years, has been appointed trainer of the Hearts.
Stewart is an old player having been five years with Liverpool and three years each with Motherwell and Hamilton Academicals. He was an inside forward of considerable repute. He has also high qualifications as a masseur.
Mr. Dick Vickers, the ex-Dundee trainer, was on the short list of eight, as was Jimmy Bellamy, the former Dens Park outside right.
