This is a photograph of a team abroad, and Dr, Hess, well remembered in this city, has sent it along to Mr. Arthur E. Morton, and at the same time has spoken of the Scottish tour of Italy. Dr. Hess says: “I always found you Britons taking too little interest in what happens abroad, and hoped that one day you would wake up from your splendid isolation. This has happened. And what a difference from the time Mr Bee was teasing me in his paper because I told him that at that time (1906 we preferred not to play during the winter season. At that time we had nine clubs. Most of the players of this team, Juventus, are internationals. A visit of this team to England would arouse much interest.” Dr. Hess has held every position on the Italian Football Association.
