Liverpool F.C. have two goalkeepers off duty – Arthur Riley, with a broken finger that is healing very slowly; and Andrew Aitken is not likely to play for a long time owing to a broken thigh. Elisha Scott had a damaged hand, but is, fortunately, fit for service, and Henry Horsfall, of Stockport, was signed on for Anfield’s goalkeeping aid.
