Willie Steel transferred to Liverpool

To-day Willie Steel, the accomplished back of St. Johnstone, signed for Liverpool. Steel, who is a Glasgow boy and joined the Perth club from Bridgeton Waverley, travelled to Perth at the weekend and returned to Liverpool last night with the papers completed. The transfer fee is stated to be in the region of £1,000.
