Edmed and Bolton destroyed Liverpool

Monday, May 9 – 1932
For a fee of £750 Bolton took Edmed, the Liverpool winger, and played him against his old side on Saturday. He got the first of eight goals against his old side in their biggest defeat of the season.

Although McRorie put on an equaliser, Bolton danced through the strained Anfield half-backs. Steel, McDougall and Wright came out of the unbalanced display with credit, but Bradshaw never touched his classiest vein, and I opine it would have been better if the club had not fixed to go to Denmark for a tour. All the players are wanting a rest.
