May 27, 1932
Ted Crawford, the Halifax Town centre-forward, who was taken from Filey Town, has been transferred to Liverpool, evidently on the recommendation of the Halifax manager, Mr. Alex Raisbeck, who is the old Liverpool captain.

The Merseysiders have four other centre-forwards – Gordon Hodgson, Dave Wright, Harold Barton and  Les Bruton.
