Everton are negotiating for the transfer of Elisha Scott, the Irish international goalkeeper, who was recently placed on the transfer list by Liverpool after 21 years’ service.
Mr. Tom McIntosh, secretary of Everton F.C., denied a statement that Scott had been signed, but admitted negotiations were in progress for his transfer, and that the matter might be concluded within a few days.
