Harold Barton, Liverpool’s versatile forward, was yesterday transferred to Sheffield United. He joined Liverpool in 1929 as an outside right, but he has since played in every position of attack. He is one of the fastest men in the game, and it was chiefly due to his great speed that he proved so successful in the centre forward position when experimented with there.
