Tottenham’s troubles

December 12, 1934
Tottenham Hotspur are passing through a most worrying period. They are due to visit Liverpool on Saturday, and are certain to be without Arthur Rowe, their captain and centre half back, who has gone to hospital for a cartilage operation. Allan Hall had two cartilages removed last week, and his return to the side will be long delayed. Altogether the ‘Spurs’ luck seems to be well out.
