Liverpool Reserves with a new goalkeeper

Les Heseltine, the Garston Woodcutters’ F.C. inside right, 18 years of age, 5ft. 7in. in height, and 10st, has become a professional for the Liverpool Football Club, and is playing in the reserve team at Leeds; M. Hawes (of Bicester Town), Willie Steel, Robert Done, Tom Morrison, Tom Bush, Fred Riogers, Stan White, Les Heseltine, Sam English, Tosh Johnson, Lance Carr.

Liverpool “A” v Ellesmere Port Town, at Cadby Hall, 3 p.m., is: Stan Kane, Jim Harley, Robert Felton, Davis, Alan Danson, Robert Whittle, Gandy, Norrie Alden, John Search, Lowe, George Stanyer.
