No deal between Dudley Nourse and Liverpool

September 20, 1935
Mr. R.J. Williams will go to Southampton to-day to see his colleagues in the South Africa cricket team leave for home. He has a position in Durban that carries with it a pension, and he is not prepared to relinquish it for a precarious professional football appointment.
