This afternoon Burnley will be without Hetherington, who injured his hand in practice on Wednesday. His play in goal will be filled by Edward Fairhurst Adams, the Southport goalkeeper, who was signed by the Burnley secretary, Mr. A. Boland, on Thursday.
Adams, who is 5ft. 10in. in height, and weighs 12st., was four seasons with Wrexham and one with Liverpool before joining Southport.
