Alf Hobson transferred to Liverpool

Liverpool F.C. have signed a new goalkeeper, Alf Hobson, from Shildon, the North-East colliery district, and he will play in the Central League team versus Sheffield United Reserves, at Anfield, to-morrow.

Hobson, who is 22 and who weighs 12st., had been angled by several other League clubs.
