Preston North End yesterday signed Willie Fagan, a 19-year-old forward from Glasgow Celtic, who will play for his new club at outside right in an all-Scottish attack against Stoke on Saturday. The Preston forward line will be Fagan, Frank O’Donnell, Maxwell, Dougal, and Hugh O’Donnell. Fagan, who was in his first season with Celtic, recently deputized for McGrory. He is 5ft. 9in., and weights 11 stone.
