Tom Bush to play against Manchester United

Liverpool will rest Tom Bradshaw for the game with Manchester United at Old Trafford, on Saturday, and Bush takes his place. Team: – Alf Hobson, Tommy Cooper, Ben Dabbs, Matt Busby, Tom Bush, Jimmy McDougall, Berry Nieuwenhuys, Harry Eastham, Fred Howe, Jack Balmer, Alf Hanson.

The Central League side to oppose Manchester United Reserves at Anfield, kick-off 2:30, will be: G. Stapleton, Jim Harley, Fred Rogers, Ted Savage, Bernard Ramsden, Keith Peters, Harold Taylor, Phil Taylor, Vic Wright, Syd Roberts, David Laing.

Stapleton is an amateur goalkeeper from Marine and Stoneycroft who is being given a trial, while Laing is the recruit from Forfar Athletic who makes his debut for Liverpool.
