Con O’Kelly, of Hull, the Northern heavyweight champion, told the “mail” that he was due to fight at the Anfield football ground, Liverpool, on March 24, the eve of the Grand National. It is learned that Mr. Johnny Best, the Liverpool promoter, is negotiating for a contest between Con O’Kelly and Pat Marrinan or George Rutz, the French title holder.
