Mr. George Kay, Liverpool’s manager, has signed ex-Corporal Stan Eastham (no relation to Harry Eastham) on professional forms. Eastham, who played for Liverpool in several Central League games last season, has now finished his Army service. He is 23 years of age and a clever player who done equally well at inside forward or wing half. He was a member of the English amateur international side which toured Australia and New Zealand a year ago, and amassed a big total of goals from inside right.
